The Ardhanari Dharma Citta Foundation proudly organizes the Nusantara International Folklore Festival (NIFF) as part of its annual commitment to fostering appreciation for cultural heritage and traditional performing arts in Indonesia. In 2019, the Foundation also presented the Jakarta International Folklore Festival (JIFF) at Taman Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, successfully welcoming 28 performing groups from 8 countries.
Continuing this international engagement, NIFF 2025 brought together 16 performing groups from 5 countries, further strengthening cultural exchange and global artistic collaboration.
The Nusantara International Folklore Festival 2026 will take place in Bali from September 25–28, inviting participants from across Indonesia and abroad to present outstanding works in traditional dance and music. Under the theme “Global Rhythms, Shared Stories,” the festival aims to foster meaningful cultural exchange, strengthen international friendships, and promote the values of unity and peace through artistic expression.
Beyond stage performances, NIFF 2026 will feature curated exhibitions and interactive workshops on traditional arts, led by distinguished speakers and practitioners from Indonesia and overseas. More than a cultural event, NIFF serves as a dynamic platform for learning, collaboration, and global networking—celebrating diversity while building bridges between communities through the universal language of folklore.
