> PROGRAMS

Day #01 - 25 September 2026
  • Upon arrival in Bali, the group will be received by our representative and transferred to hotel
  • 17.00 – 18.30: Leaders of the groups are invited to a meeting with the festival committee
  • 19.00 – 21.00: Welcome Dinner
Day #02 - 26 September 2026
  • 06.30 – 08.30 : Breakfast at hotel
  • 09.00 – 16.00 : Sound Check & Rehearsal, Workshop on Traditional Arts
  • 17.00 – 17.30 : Opening Ceremony
  • 17.30 – 21.30 : Performances of local and international participants (dinner box will be provided on-site)
Day #03 - 27 September 2026
  • 06.30 – 08.30 : Breakfast at hotel
  • 09.00 – 16.00 : Sound Check & Rehearsal, Workshop on Traditional Arts
  • 17.30 – 21.30 : Performances of local and international participants (dinner box will be provided on-site)
  • 21.00 – 22.00 : Closing Ceremony
Day #04 - 28 September 2026
  • 07.00 – 10.00 : Breakfast
  • 11.00 – 13.00 : Check out from the hotel and the group will be transferred to the airport

> TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

1. Eligible Entries:
  • Folklore music groups (choirs and ensembles), performing:
  • Authentic folklore.
  • Modern arrangements of folklore music.
  • Folklore dance groups (dance groups and ensembles), performing:
  • Authentic folklore dance.
  • Modern choreography based on folklore dance.
  • Mixed folklore ensembles, performing:
  • A mix of live vocal, instrumental, and dance.
2. Performance Duration Limits:
  • Individual performance: between 5 - 7 minutes.
  • Groups: between 7 - 10 minutes.
3. Music Requirements:
  • If using playback music, participants must provide the recording in advance in an appropriate audio format. Live music performances are encouraged and preferred.
4. Compensation:
  • Participants will not be paid for their performances during the festival.
5. Application Process:
  • Interested participants must complete and submit the official registration form.
  • Each team can consist of both performers and non-performers.
6. Submission Requirements:
  • A brief biography (CV) of the participating group in English..
  • Videos of two performances or links to the performances on YouTube.
  • Three high-quality photos (at least 1 MB), will be used for festival promotional purposes. Participants must own the copyright to these photos and videos.
7. Copyright and Media Use:
  • By participating in the festival, participants agree that the organiser has the right to use video, audio, and photo materials from the performances for promotional content. This content may be featured on television and social media channels.
8. Acceptance of Terms:
  • Submission of a completed and signed application form will be considered as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
9. Application Deadline:
  • Participating groups must fill in the application form and submit it by May 22nd 2026, at the latest.
  • Application forms must be sent to nusantarafolklore.reg@gmail.com
10. Curation Process
  • All applications will be reviewed by our team of curators and the Festival Committee. Participants will be notified of their acceptance via email 14 days after the application is submitted.
  • Successful applicants will receive an official Letter of Acceptance and a Letter of Invitation, which can be used to seek sponsorship or support for their group if needed.
11. Confirmation and Payment:
  • Once the Letter of Acceptance is sent, the group will receive a confirmation along with payment instructions.
  • A down payment of 20% of the total sum is required 14 days after receiving an official Letter of Acceptance.
  • Upon receipt of the final payment, the group will be officially included in the festival line-up.
  • Please note that the down payment is non-refundable, and failure to make the final payment by the deadline will result in the cancellation of the group’s participation in the festival.

> PARTICIPATION FEE

  • Start from: IDR 3,200,000 per person (approx 195 USD / 165 Euro).
  • This package rate applies to all members of the delegation, including participants, managers, parents, and fans.
  • For groups of 20 or more, one group leader participates free of charge (20 + 1).
The participation fee includes:
  • Accommodation in 3-star hotels (shared rooms for 2 or 3 people).
  • 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners.
  • Round-trip airport transfers (Airport – Hotel – Airport).
  • Souvenirs and gifts for each group.
  • E-Certificate of attendance.
The participation fee excludes:
  • Travel costs to and from Bali.
  • Lunches.
  • Optional tour programs.
  • Travel and health insurance.
  • Visa fees.

> GENERAL TERMS

  • By applying, participants agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this regulation.
  • Fees and accommodation costs must be paid via bank transfer.
  • Invoices will be sent electronically.
  • The organizers reserve the right to make changes in the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.
  • Should any economic fluctuations affect costs, the organizers reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly.
  • Soundcheck times will follow the order of performers in the program, based on the schedule.
  • The organizers also reserve the right to modify the program if necessary.
