The Ardhanari Dharma Citta Foundation organizes the Nusantara International Folklore Festival (NIFF) as one of its annual initiatives to nurture love for culture and dance art in Indonesia. In 2019, we also held the Jakarta International Folklore Festival (JIFF) at Taman Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, with the participation of 28 groups from 8 countries.
The Nusantara International Folklore Festival 2025 will take place in Ubud, Bali, from September 24 to 27, inviting participants from various provinces in Indonesia and abroad to showcase their best works in dance and music. With the theme “Global Rhythms, Shared Stories,” the festival aims to share experiences, strengthen friendships, and spread the spirit of peace.
In addition to dance and music performances, the festival will also feature a Cultural Parade, Exhibition, and Workshops on traditional arts with international speakers and practitioners. The Nusantara Folklore Festival 2025 is not just a cultural festival but also a celebration of unity, brotherhood, and artistic expression, as well as an opportunity to learn and build networks both domestically and internationally.
